The nudge button follows the backlog
“Nudge” is back, and now switches itself on and off with the site-wide queue: available under 300 orders in line, greyed out with an explanation above that — the same busy threshold the shop uses.
The "Nudge" button is back on order cards, on both desktop and mobile, but whether it can be clicked follows the site-wide queue. Under 300 orders in line it works; at 300 or more it greys out with a tooltip saying the queue is busy and nudging is paused — and calling the endpoint directly is refused as well, so it is a real pause rather than a visual one. The queue figure refreshes roughly every 30 seconds and the button returns on its own once the backlog drops. When active it applies only to orders still in the queue, and one order can be nudged five times at most, ten minutes apart. That 300 threshold is the same number the shop uses to decide it is busy.
